Notes

Abstract:
We analyzed the effects of urbanization on neophobia and boldness in rural and urban Northern Cardinals. We placed novel objects on bird feeders and quantified flight initiation distance and latency to return to the feeder. Urban birds were less neophobic and bolder, which helps us understand how urbanization affects behavior.
